Tonight, I heard the first sigh of winter.
The acrylic void slips over a mural world; inky and bloated; coated with the sorrows of sirens.

Dhampyr - Passions of Wintry Dusk (EP)
2009
Track Listing:
1. Passions of Wintry Dusk - 34:24
NOTE:
I completed this album in the Fall of 2008, but it wouldn't see release until almost a year later - the supporting decision being an overwhelming artistic apathy in the light of new and (un)exciting changes in life's undulating sea of circumstances. Though I mainly distributed the album online, through a defunct net-label (Atarneus), there exist about 10 CD-R copies that were passed around amongst friends and musicians. In the future, expect a proper re-release of the album along with several bonus tracks that were recorded around the same time period.

Mainlining A River of Heroin
The quality of a man cannot be measured by the breadth of his successes, nor the swells of his fortunes; rather, it is his capacity to remain decent to himself in an age which affords the synthetic and unusually crass spirit above the earnest and the bred; this is what determines a man.

"I bear the seed of change and sculpt the dawn of special eons."
Not neglecting the probable formula of pretension and mystique, I have regretfully joined the straggling bandwagon of the "bloggers." Make no mistake; I genuinely recognize the disadvantages of "fitting in," and perhaps resent myself to a certain degree for this decision, but am unable to reconcile my stolid nihilistic fascinations with any practical agenda. I even find an ironic amusement in this method of self-deprecation, and am open to your thoughts and suggestions as to how I can make this domain as miserable as possible. To be forward, I have elected "Not To Give A Fuck" about the technical aspects of this page, so if this blog seems to exude a kitschy perfume of half-loopy artsy bullshit, then I have properly prioritized.
Realistically, I will use this blog as a means of promoting my band, and, most likely, my collection of mental illnesses. On occasion, I will christen you all with a free album to download, because I don't believe music (art) and commodity (commercialism) are able to co-exist.
Have a rosy day,
-X
